Marching on......

Well, I have discovered that I now have gall stones. It is the pits. They can really reak havoc on ones body. My craft time has been limited because I can't sit in my sewing chair and sew for to long with out hurting like crazy. I have however been doing all my hand sewing on the couch with my feet up. Surgery is scheduled for April 9th. I can't believe I have to wait that long but I will push thru.
Not much to post today. I am trying however to get better and post more. Please join in for some exciting fun soon.

March in like a Lion.....

The weather has just been crazy already this month. One day its beautiful outside and the next.....OMG! Cam't you say WIND??? Its crazy. The pool was clean. Now it needs a good vaccuming. LOL I wish it would rain instead. This wind is the pits.
So far this month I have been busy with Doll quilts and Clothes. I have been having so much fun with them. They are done quick and I can see the progress fast!!!
My diet....well, I am working on it. Some days its pretty easy. Others, I just feel like giving up and saying who cares. No one else out there cares. Why should I? Well, cuz I am tired of being sick and tired. I am going to do it this time. It is going to take alot of work, but I CAN DO IT!!!!!

Its Leap Year!!!

I can't believe the end of February is upon us. Its been a busy month! That is a good thing for me. Still busy making doll clothes. I finished a big quilt project for a very special someone. I have 2 more to do and they will get done soon. Also working on some small quilts to give to Childrens Hospital. Will help make those little ones feel at home a bit. Its been alot of fun making things for little girls.
Started a diet this month too! So far so good. Went dancing for some exercise and had a blast. Best part was my legs didn't hurt the next day. So what ever I am doing it is helping. Down 9 pounds so far. Wish it would drop faster but at least it is dropping!!!

Oh My Gosh!!! Time has flown by. Again! I am keeping busy. I have started making doll clothes for a charity. Its been alot of fun. Especially since I don't have daughters who play with dolls. I can fancy them up all I want.
We are doing well. Organizing and Cleaning. Our usual. LOL. Not much else going on.
Will try to do better to post more often

January Update.

Well, its Jan 16th. Rocky's and My 24th Wedding Anniversary. WOW its been a long time!
So, I have made 2 baby doll quilts already. So proud. Pictures to come soon. I haven't gotten them quilted yet. Its been fun. Its nice to have a project that take less then 2 hours to work on. Keeps me busy too. Especially on those days where I feel like I should be taking a nap. If I did however I wouldn't sleep at night. This is just how my days are.

January.

Well, it is now January 2012. I can't believe it already. So this year I have a few goals in mind. Not sure how they will unfold but lets work on them. 1st I would like to get this house organized as best I can. Pinterest and Sew Many Ways have had some brillant ideas that I will be trying to put into effect here. 2nd I want to start eating healthier and exercising. We are going on a cruise January 2013 and I want to wiegh much less than I do now. 3rd my community service project for the year is going to be sewing doll clothes and quilts to donate to cloth and quilts ( local quilt shop new my home). Every year for Christmas they put together 18 inch dolls with 2 outfits and jammies and a quilt and bag and donate to children in the area. I want to be a part of this. So I will use scrap fabric and have a good time doing it. I do have 2 large quilts I will be workin on as well. One for my Aunt Sandy and one for Ciera.

Here I sit just a few more days until Christmas. I am done shopping, Done sewing, Now on to the wrapping. Ciera will be home for 3 weeks. It will be nice to have a smiling face around every once in a while. I have so enjoyed checking in on all the blogs that I have found over this year. To you all.....THANK YOU!!
It is so much fun to see what others are creating and to see if it can spark any ideas for me. I do my very best not to COPY any ones Idea exactly, but I do use them for help.
